A wonderful British rock group, Renaissance, recorded a song, Down by the Sea (I have to look it up on my iPod to see actually what its title is), whose refrain says, 'There's where I long to be, I want to be, down by the sea.' All day long that song has been running through my head because I had no idea that spending two days at the edge of the Pacific would have such an impact on me. I will retain the calm of being close to the water, hearing the constant breaking of the waves and the seagulls in my heart as I now enter into three days of meeting. The time at the ocean was an unexpected gift, truly.
