Friday cat blogging returns

after a long haitus... not sure how regular it will be either.

Cats are always willing to help out at the computer.

Orange Friend sees a squirrel (oversized rodent) outside but can't do anything about it.

This basket used to be on the drier in the northern rectory facing due east and was a favourite spot in the morning, especially for Young Guy. Finally, a year later, someone has rediscovered it.

Almost all the time the house divides itself into three plus one. There never will be a foursome.

After the big auction last week, we brought home our prizes and La Doyenne settled down on the wrapping paper that came with one of the paintings.

YG preferred the Empire sofa, covered with towels to protect the nice material from fur.

La Doyenne had just placed her animal on the floor, having moved it from downstairs.

I don't know what he was after in the tape dispenser but he kept pawing at it.

Then he settled in to read the newsletter from my former parish.

Who knows what the Shadow knows? Note the Christmas cactus in bloom. True to form, it started blooming on Thanksgiving.

Here's what I first saw from the hallway.

How can you resist those little white paws peeking out from under the blanket?

I like the arty shadow-cat shots.
