Late Saturday shuffle

Akanaki Nokunaka • Johnny Clegg and Juluka
The Eleventh Hour • Exchange
Magnificat and Nunc dimittis • John Taverner
McGlynn: Agnus Dei • Chanticleer
Estoy Perdido • El Chaval (bachata)
El Cangrejo • Los Guaraguao
El Jardin • Gustavo Santaolalla
Dear Prudence • The Beatles
On Avance • Alain Souchon
Mother mother • Tracy Bonham

This is mostly a quiet selection of music with the exception of the Tracy Bonham which is a kick-butt loud song that I probably won't even get to tonight. It's a bit heavy on the Latino music though Gustavo Santaolalla is more than that. He plays a agreat charrango (I almost bought one of those in Ecuador, $80 there, $200 here — see below). Throw in a little classical, one New Age (Exchange) and an old Alain Souchon (French) for good measure and you've got a pretty eclectic mix.
