Photos from Executive Council, Dearborn

Some of the visiting primates and bishops from TEC's covenant provinces joined the International Concerns Committee of the Executive Council.

Just to show you how exciting our meetings are: a hotel ballroom is a hotel ballroom is a hotel ballroom and it's impossible to take a photo in it.

Christ Church, Dearborn, MI, received Executive Council for its 10.00 Holy Eucharist.

Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori preaches about fasting, rice and beans.

And here are most of the primates (Philippines is missing) after lunch on Sunday (taken by Michigan photographer Herb Gunn): Brazil, Central America, Mexico, TEC, Liberia.

The bottom photo reminds me of something choral conductor Robert Page always told us - No fig leaves! Looks like they are trying to hide something.

Thanks for the photos so the furriners, especially, become real people rather than names on papers or blogs.

Oh my. I would have called it a soccer line up.

Either way, it's pretty funny.
