Under 48 hours

So here's what life looks like. We've descended to the eighth circle of hell. One more to go.

Friday status report

Young Guy found the boxes in the bedroom perfect as a launching pad.

And the bedroom looked this way.

And here's what the study looked like as of Friday last night. This packing was thanks to a parishioner.

These photos are of this evening. Upstairs hall... lots of boxes.

Study as of this afternoon. I have a long, long way yet to go here.

The north bedroom has become a staging area for boxes, and boxes, now that the bed has been taken down.

And here's the bed leaning up against the wall.

Some things don't change: it's dinner time!!!

Lit a candle this morning for a safe, stressless (ha) move for you and your critters.

The kitteh on top of the bookkcase in the first photo looks just like my Maya - and Maya is fond of the same type of place. How they get all the way up there is a wonder.

I am home writing this late afternoon and evening (alas, not fun writing for the next few hours; maybe more creative stuff later on) and thus at the desk with the votive candle and icons. Tonight you get Mary Protectress of the Oppressed and sweet Saint Joseph and the Child Jesus. Joseph is always good for houses and moves and homes. Mary is good for everything, and this is a beautiful Black Mary by Lentz.

This too shall pass, and if you are in boxes on the other side of the move, at least you and the boxes will be all in one place!

P.S. Your word verification thingie says fusereo. They have started getting really interesting since they added more vowels and started making almost-words. Though they had a real word over at Paul's the other night, lections, which someone at Blogger didn't know was an actual word! At least it is for us crazy Anglicans.
