I met Tony Saca (the one watching the handshake, out-going president of El Salvador, Arenero) in 2002 and Mauricio Funes (in-coming president) in 2004.
If it weren't for the inauguration taking place the day after Pentecost, I would be in El Salvador for it.
Maybe someday I will meet Barack Obama. Dream on. However, given that no president has visited Vermont in at least eight years, it is overdue (though we hardly wanted GWB to come).
[I am also amused to see that even professional photographers can't control everything and get objects sticking out of people's heads as in this photo.]
