Supposedly the House will take up discussion of the bill at 4.00 PM or so. Here's a photo of the chamber. I would think the House has gone into recess when this was taken.

[6.30/18.30 EDT] Referendum failed 52-96 (that is, a vote on holding a state-wide referendum on same-sex marriages failed). GOOD.

[21.33] The bill passes 2nd reading! 95-52 on first count.
