Fall is a coming

I am going to miss this front porch, even though it faces due west (a bit toasty on a hot July morning). I have read the Sunday New York Times late afternoons and watched the town traffic go by. I will be moving to a dead-end street (which has its benefits because I won't have heavy logging trucks and eighteen wheels jake braking in front of the house). Still, this has been a lovely porch.

The big maple tree at the end of the porch, other side of the driveway, is shedding lots of leaves. All of a sudden fall has come. Tomorrow I will take some more photos of the leaves — the colours are becoming resplendent.

Things end, things begin - I love the way you look at things.

Peace to you always my sister!
