The domestic scene

Here are two photos of the domestic scene.

First, the office yesterday morning before I took off to work. Three of the four had settled in to be near. The fourth does her own thing.

This rectory yard, despite having an infestation of slugs that have eaten my peppers to a faretheewell, has a luscious raspberry patch. The berries aren't puny either. Here is what I gathered up this afternoon. Young Guy inspects them while MABFP looks on. YG has been eating the lavender I picked the other day, lavender that had been on the table drying until I discovered it pulled out of the vase in which I had placed it.

Lavender eating cats! Oh my!

We had slugs too, but not near the vegetable garden. What we have in the vegetable garden is the remains of what promised to be a bumper crop of tomoatoes, turned to rot by the tomato blight. *sigh*

August is on its way, I would love to come to church on a Sunday.

I will email you.
