Here the Gulf of Mexico people go again... as this mean storm goes past Cuba and has already messed up Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
Now our sisters and brothers in Louisiana (la bonne Grandmère) and especially NOLA are gearing up again. At least this time, they are letting people leave with their pets and there seems to be some semblance of organisation.
Pray, pray and pray.
The irony that the Presiding Bishop had already asked that the church remember Katrina tomorrow is too much.
And lest this seems as trivialising the severity of this storm, I am waiting for some wingnut to attribute the storm to the annual LGBT festivities going on in New Orleans this weekend. Just saying....

Oh this is very scary. I spoke to Mimi today, she was stressed out and that was before they decided to leave today.
