Most of you who read this blog already know Kirstin of Barefoot and Laughing, but for those of you who don't, she has just learned that she has amelanotic melanoma. Her world of being a seminarian has been turned upside down as she absorbs this news, and learns of what her treatment will be. She has jumped on the canser treadmill and is off and running.

So, wander over to her blog where she writes about what she knows, send her a message of encouragement and add her to your prayer list.

And if you're wondering about the misspelling of cancer, it's intentional. It's just one way of getting a sense of control over the villen (as Naomi calls it). Go over to Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Cancer blog as well as the online community she has created. She published two years ago, Crazy, Sexy Cancer Tips and is about to publish another book. They're geared for the 20-30 age group who don't fit either into pediatric or adult cancer groups.
