HOORAY for Los Angeles who after seven long ballots elected the Rev'd Mary Glasspool as the second suffragan to join the Rev'd Diane Bruce, elected yesterday.
That is such wonderful news. Now we have to pray Mary through the consent process. For those of you in questioning dioceses, emphasise what a fantastic priest she is, her years of experience, her sense of humour, yes, her humanity.
Such wonderful, wonderful news... it just took the laity a while to get on board.
