Not quite back to life

but I will be in a bit....

Just as a gander for the past couple of days...

Thursday 24 December
10.00, Holy Eucharist at the assisted living place
12.30, lunch at the local coffee joint (good spicy chili)
1.30, meeting up with a colleague on the street and chatting (my cappucino got a bit chilled)
2.00 back to the house to ready up for the 4.00 service
3.00 back to the church for the 4.00 service
5.30 out of the 4.00 service and back to the house to realise the computer froze so it meant rewriting part of my sermon
8.00 back to church to get things ready
9.00 choir arrives
9.30 musical prelude
10.00 the Christ Mass
11.30 service ends, yakking with folks
12.05, in the sacristy with three people when the alarm goes off, set by someone at the back end of the building, a full sprint across the apse to turn it off
12.30 home
1.30 finally to bed

Christmas Day
8.00 up for simple breakfast
9.00 over to the church to reassemble things from last night
10.00 Holy Eucharist
11.30 back home to wrap presents and get things organised
1.00-2.00 nap
3.00 leave for the other place
3.30-4.30 put ornaments on the tree
4.30-5.30 finally open presents!

and then the simple stuff of Christmas eve....
