Here are four photographs that my friend sent from last night's street celebration taken near the hotel where Mauricio Funes had his press conference. It is also at a plaza that delineates the rich and poorer neighbourhoods. By her estimation, there were about 100.000 people partying, most of them young. She said there were parties throughout the country. I can imagine the firecrackers!
That's a pretty new taxi (!).
