While I can't hear the press conference, it would seem as though Mauricio Funes of the FMLN has won the presidency of El Salvador.

Oh, how I wish I were there!!!! Five years ago I had to listen to the cheers and fireworks of the Areneros in the football stadium nearby.

I can only imagine how the streets of San Salvador are.

To my dear friend, Maura, I toast you.

And I drink some red wine (and will call El Salvador shortly).

I am in tears, once again.
