The Windsor Continuation Group (WCG) is making waves at Lambeth. Essentially they have proposed that the trajectory of the Covenant idea lead to a form of Covenant that will include a process of punitive or coercive judgment. The end result would be the development of an Instrument of Communion with teeth.
It's pitiful, really. A bunch of male bishops are scared to death of one honest man to the point that they are going to throw out completely the whole Anglican ethos to placate a unplacable group of hardliners.
Look at the happy bishops in the above photo. We may not pass this way again, at least in this form.
