Almost there

Two more hours of puttering around time. I am too wired to try to nap. So I take photos. Here's the church, all ready for tonight. One can always tell pre-Great Vigil of Easter photos because the aumbry is still wide open. Shortly, shortly...

The ciborium and cruet are on the side by the chairs, ready to be filled once again. And there's a votive ready to be lit and once again suspended above the bishop's chair.

So far, no one has tampered with the sign. Shall we all sing, 'I'm dreaming of a white Easter'? It's going to be chilly (20 degrees) out there tonight. I always pray there not be a wind because I fear the cope catching on fire.

In the background is the local Methodist church. I think we are the only Main Street church having a service tonight. It makes for easier parking.
