From the Sisyphus files

From the Sisyphus files, aka Life in Vermont....

I am sure this is common for other snow-covered states. Only in places like this do you spend a record-breaking (temperature) day putting the driveway gravel back into the driveway. This year was particularly rough on the lawn and driveway because of the last storm two weeks ago. The driveway was so soft that when the man who plows it dropped the plow blade, the blade made huge gouges in the middle of the driveway and then he managed to plow most of the gravel into the yard.

I spent half an hour making my first crack at shovelling the gravel into the driveway and raking it. I need for that ice patch by the lilac to soften up so I can get the rest of the gravel off the yard but at least it is a start.

Oh, we are Sisyphus!
