Spring is a coming in....

RevDrMom posted two days ago photos of the daffodils in her yard along with a blooming star magnolia. Now, she lives in a more temperate zone than those of us in the frozen mountains of Vermont but just so you know that we are not totally hopeless up here, here is a photo of the crocuses that have come out in the rectory flowerbed that faces due west.

Later I will put up a photo of the snowdrops that re-emerged from the snow and bloomed happily even though snow was still at their feet.

The daffodils are only about an inch out of the ground even in the southward-facing flower bed so it will be a while yet before I see them. In fact, they are all going to come out while walking the Camino. This will be the fourth spring I miss seeing all the daffies I planted years and years ago.
